Universities - Partner with BIG in America
British and Irish Graduates in America is a vehicle to enable co-operation and mutual support between the alumni groups of British and Irish universities who are currently living in the USA. We achieve this by:
- Organising social and networking functions bringing together the alumni communities of all British and Irish universities.
- Providing a free website, BIGinAmerica.net where alumni can register to share information and access various on-line community building tools. This includes facilities for advertising events, co-ordinating volunteers, and creating private (or public) on-line groups for their own alumni.
- Providing information and support to alumni who would like to create their own alumni groups in the USA, and access to an extended network of like-minded alumni giving a critical mass of people even for geographically dispersed alumni communities.
- Sharing information and data with British and Irish universities and HEI (subject to appropriate privacy considerations) to help them to engage with and support their alumni communities in the USA.
BIG in America is not a membership organization: we encourage and help alumni to form groups to celebrate and support their own institutions. In addition to providing ways to jump-start and/or rev up alumni organizations in the US, we enable alumni groups small and large to collaborate to achieve things they could not do alone.
Businesses Sponsorship and Partnering Opportunities
British and Irish Graduates in America links your business with our high value and influential network of alumni groups and individuals. Our corporate sponsorship packages focus around our social and networking events, which provide high visibility and recognition for sponsors with individual members of our community, their US businesses and our British and Irish university partners.
BIG in America Needs Partners and Sponsors
2006 Sponsors:
British and Irish Graduates in America is an all-volunteer non-profit organisation. We could not perform our support and networking functions without the support and partnership of businesses and universities.
